S: Fused discs are CD-R discs created by the duplicate original disc by “copy” the information from the switch to a blank CD. This method is suitable mainly for smaller print runs up to about 400 discs. The pressure on the disc is either by inkjet printers, thermal print or stickers.
Pressed discs are an industrial approach to first create a glass master of the original disc. Then pressed the remaining images by pressing out the tracks from glasmastern on the new edition. This method is suitable mainly for large volumes from 500 st. The pressure on the disc itself is offset or silk screen printing in 1 to 5 colors.
